our Mission

Background

Patriot Adventures was started by a veteran and her spouse who recognized the need for a supportive space where veterans and first responders could come together and heal through outdoor experiences. After serving herself, she saw firsthand the challenges many face when transitioning from service back to civilian life, and she wanted to create a nonprofit that would provide an outlet for relaxation, connection, and recovery. With the support of a passionate team, including family members and fellow veterans, Patriot Adventures was born. The goal is to offer a safe, welcoming environment where individuals who have dedicated their lives to service can bond with others who share similar experiences, all while enjoying the therapeutic power of nature. The team strives to create lasting memories, foster deep connections, and help these heroes find peace, strength, and camaraderie.
